This interactive eLearning program has been designed for applications within the Aerospace, Medical, Manufacturing, and Service industries.  Because it is blended with online and classroom instruction, numerous adult learners find it both convenient and effective.  Participants are able to take classes wherever and whenever they want provided they have a high speed-internet connection.

Essentials of Business Statistics provides a solid foundation to understanding the Six Sigma D-M-A-I-C methodology.  Specifically, during the Define phase, the problem must be clearly stated.  This might include identifying the output in terms of average, median, or mode.  In the Measure phase, it is necessary to determine if the data available is discrete or continuous so that you can assess the accuracy of the formulas utilized.  During the Analysis phase, data must be objectively studied and manipulated to target both valid and reliable results.  Within the Control phase, process users and managers will study process results to identify changes within the process which could render it ineffective.

Statistical analysis assists Green and Black Belts in comparing process performance, developing inferences, and determining if true process improvement occurred.  The thing is, you don't have to be a Green or Black Belt to gain the benefits of statistical analysis.

This information packed course will streamline your knowledge of statistics and it's application to improvement methodologies, utilization within your Quality Management System (i.e., ISO 9001:2000, AS9100, etc.), or incorporation into your Quest for Excellence or Lean Manufacturing program.  Included within our "Essentials of Business Statistics" program are:
